ABOUT THE ROLE
The SAC Administrator is part of the Country Western Canada Finance Team. This role will be responsible for developing dashboards, visualizations, and supporting the planning process of the local finance team in SAC (SAP Analytics Cloud). The SAC Administrator works closely with, and in support of, the Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis.
WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH
- Safety - Communicating, improving and adhering to safety policies in all work environments.
- Design, build, and maintain- Support process automation and efficient reporting for the FP&A team. Develop understanding in the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and other key company metrics to be able to create reports based on these KPIs and validate this information on a regular basis.
- Subject matter expert - Point of contact to liaison to the North America BI/ Data/Analytics team on new report developments and upgrades.
- Local End user Support - Support local finance team members in training, development, and the maintenance of workbooks and reports based on SAC data models.
- Report Maintenance - Strong financial understanding to support the Financial Planning and Analysis team with detailed analysis and report requests. Assist in the preparation of reports to the executive committee of reporting requirements including all Financial Planning activities such as operational performance, forecast and Mid-Term plan.
- Dashboard development- Ensure that all reports and other deliverables are developed with: accuracy, performance, and scalability in mind to deliver the best end-user experience possible.
- Financial Data/Reporting - Understanding of basic Financial Statements such as the: Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow and being able to develop and validate reports based on these statements to support the FP&A team.
- Tool Conversion (SAC to BPC) - Support conversion of Excel based BPC (SAP Business Planning and Consolidation) reports into web based SAC reports with similar functionality and content.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Education: Undergraduate degree.
Additional Education Preferred: Completion of a professional accounting program (CA, CMA, CGA or CPA) preferred.
Field of Study Preferred: Technology, Analytics, Data, or Finance/Accounting.
Required Work Experience: 5-7 years professional experience required.
Required Training/Certifications: Certifications/Experience in SAP Analytics Cloud, BPC, or related tools.
Required Technical Skills: Advanced MS Office, Excel and Access skills.

- Have a full understanding of all SAC web client functions (security, work status, Business Process Flows, Business Rules, etc.)
- Experience working in Microsoft Excel to be able to leverage the SAC Excel Add in for data queries and ad hoc reporting.
- Skilled in report writing/financial modeling in SAC and in input template development.
- Previous Experience in BPC support projects preferred.
- Business Intelligence skills and experience in training/building training material.
