Lead QA Automation Engineer - Cypress, Fixed-Term (Toronto)
Job summary
A leading digital agency in Toronto is seeking a Principal Automation Engineer for a fixed-term contract. You will lead automation testing initiatives and mentor junior engineers. Candidates should have 4-8 years in QA automation, strong skills in Cypress, TypeScript, and excellent problem-solving abilities. - 4-8 years of experience in QA automation or similar roles.
- Proficiency in automation tools such as Cypress, JMeter, and Postman, particularly Cypress.
- Familiarity with AWS CI/CD processes and DevOps practices is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of test strategies and plans.
- Develop, execute, and maintain automated test frameworks.
- Mentor and guide QA engineers in best practices and methodologies.
- Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure quality standards are met.
