Job summary

Job description
LNI Childcare Learning Centre is seeking F/T Early Childhood Educators
  • Position: Early Childhood Educator (ECE)
  • Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
  • Wage: $22.50~$25.00/hour (depending on experience)
  • Working Hours: 30~40 hours/week
  • Number of Positions: 2
  • 10 days paid vacation per year or 4% vacation pay

Job Duties:

  • Develop and implement child-care programs that support the physical, cognitive, emotional and social development of children
  • Plan and conduct activities by reading stories and teaching songs
  • Set up rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods, and prepare snacks
  • Prepare reports for parents and supervisors regarding children’s behavioural issues and potential learning
  • Guide and assist children in eating, dressing and toilet habits.
  • Maintain daycare equipment organized and sanitized
  • Help children to express the creativities and find interests through art, music, play and physical activities
  • Establish guidelines for behaviour

Job requirements:
