Purpose

The Assistant Manager, Payment Operations Transformation will support in driving transformational operational capabilities, opportunities, and mitigates potential operational risks associated with day-to-day servicing and operations as well as transformative payments technologies across the high value payments space. The individual works with stakeholders to socialize and support operations teams in the overall deployment of strategies that shape meaningful change for our customers and operational teams

What You’ll Do:

• Ensure teams initiatives are carried out and the programs receives full support, deadlines are achieved, and duties are adhered accurately.
• Seeks a deep understanding of the end-to-end payment process to ensure successful implementation of target state processes.
• Participate in multi-disciplinary programs that could involve support on defining business requirements and processes, testing and monitoring progress against planned objectives.
• Provide support with target state Standard Operating Process creation and consulting with internal stakeholders when needed.
• Provide support on delivery of backlog items and the ongoing testing and refinement to optimize and enhance their value.
• Work in a cross-functional agile environment with Design, Engineering, Analytics Teams as well as Business Stakeholders to create value and deliver a world-class customer experience.
• Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
• Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational risk, regulatory compliance risk, AML/ATF risk and conduct risk, including but not limited to responsibilities under the Operational Risk Management Framework, Regulatory Compliance

What You'll Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, computer science or equivalent
• 3 years in Banking Operations and Cash Management experience
• Proven knowledge of the high-value payment domain including wire payments, SWIFT, ISO20022, FI Clearing and Financial Markets (FMI).
• An Agile mindset with a focus on delivering business value associated with operations transformations.Strong communication (Written & verbal) and Organization Skills.
• Advanced Excel, presentation skills & Data Analysis
