A global testing and inspection leader is recruiting a Level I NDT Technician in Fort McMurray, Alberta for the 2026 Turnaround Season. The position requires relevant NDT certifications and a focus on safety and quality. Candidates must have a high school diploma and preferably 3-5 years of NDT inspection experience. Are you a skilled Level I NDT Technician based in Alberta? We’re building a pool of qualified candidates for the 2026 Turnaround Season. We are accepting resumes to ensure we’re ready to move quickly once positions become available. We are particularly looking for UT, RT, CEDO, MT, PT, CWB, and XRF certifications.
This is a great opportunity to express interest in joining a highly respected team that values safety, precision, and excellence in non-destructive testing. Preference will be given to local candidates who reside in the Fort McMurray area.
The overall duty of this position is to provide field support by performing NDT inspections in compliance with legislated industry codes, standards and procedures under direct guidance of the Level II Technician. Supporting the Level II Technician, the Level I Technician conducts NDT inspections by supplying and/or holding materials or tools required for the applicable NDT method/s including transporting the necessary equipment required to perform the inspections. Assisting the Level II Technician, the Level I Technician provides guidance, knowledge and skills to develop and mentor the Trainee Technicians.
Due to the nature of this position there will be on-call and overtime requirements as well as some travel.
