Note: This is a full-time and/or part-time casual position based in Priddis, AB. A valid Canadian driver's license and clean driver's abstract is required for this role. Reporting directly reporting to the Centre Director; pay rate as agreed, based on experience, expertise, and applicable education.
Teen Challenge is a 12-month, faith-based, in-residence drug and alcohol rehabilitation program, for adults 18 and older. We currently have 8 centres located in Alberta, Atlantic Canada, Saskatchewan and Ontario that are able to serve up to 197 people who are struggling with substance addiction. We demonstrate God’s love by helping individuals become free from substance addiction and equipping them to live full and meaningful lives.
Our Alberta Men's Centre is looking for a full-time and/or part-time casual Community Support Worker that has a minimum of one year experience. The primary responsibility of the Community Support Worker is to provide support to the clients at Teen Challenge Canada. The incumbent works with the clients in all areas of personal development, growth, life skills, as well as social and spiritual activities to enable the clients to attain his/her full potential. Responsibilities include: promoting an environment that is supportive, nurturing, healthy and safe, while helping to ensure that the physical needs of clients are met. Responsible for proper and accurate recording of all daily logs, shift reports, incident reports, and all other documentation as required.
