Job summary
A leading trucking solutions company is seeking a Heavy Duty Vehicle Mechanic in Mirabel, QC. Responsibilities include conducting preventive maintenance and repairs on heavy vehicles, diagnosing systems, and ensuring optimal performance. Candidates must hold a vocational diploma in heavy vehicle mechanics and have over 4 years of experience. Schedule: Monday to Friday, evening shift, 2:45 PM to 11:15 PM
Salary: $32.27 - $39.33 per hour, depending on experience, + evening shift premium of $1.60/hour
- Permanent position, 40 hours per week
- Monday to Friday evening schedule, 2:45 PM to 11:15 PM (8 hours/day)
- Salary between $32.27 and $39.33 per hour, depending on experience, + evening shift premium of $1.60/hour
- 3 to 5 weeks of vacation, depending on level/experience
- 5 paid personal days

- Perform repairs on all vehicle components
- Adjust, repair, or replace parts and components on trucks and trailers
- Carry out scheduled maintenance services such as oil changes, lubrication, and tune-ups
- Vocational diploma in heavy vehicle mechanics or related field
- 4+ years of experience in heavy vehicles
- French and English
- English proficiency level: basic reading and writing;
- Frequency: daily
- Reason: to follow the repair processes of American manufacturers
- Valid class 5 driver’s license (class 1 is an asset)
- Own a toolbox and hold a card from the joint committee
