About the Company:
Our client is the leading manufacturer of material handling systems including airport baggage handling and automotive assembly components, conveyors, electronic controls and related automation.
They are expanding at a rapid rate and are seeking to add a Shipper/Receiver to their dynamic team!
- Prepare documentation for shipment of materials, parts, finished goods and related items.
- Prepare products for shipping by following instructions on pick sheets
- Load & unload trucks and trailers
- Operate stand up & sit down forklift, overhead cranes, jib cranes, hand carts etc.
- Verify that materials shipped are as ordered in both type and quantity
- Other duties as assigned
- Must possess a High School Diploma
- Must possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role in a manufacturing environment
- Must possess prior experience operating overhead cranes
- Forklift Operator Certification
- Must possess a basic knowledge of Salesforce, knowledge of AutoCAD Mechanical is considered to be an asset
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
