A leading logistics company in New Westminster, Canada, is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee its warehouse operations for a McDonald's distributorship. This role includes planning and scheduling manpower, ensuring safety, and driving efficiency while providing leadership and support to warehouse staff. The ideal candidate will hold a bachelor’s degree and have relevant supervisory experience. A competitive salary in the range of $85,000 - $92,000 plus a bonus is offered, along with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage.
Position Summary: The ‘Warehouse Supervisor’ role oversees warehouse operations of a dedicated McDonald’s distributorship with responsibility for planning/scheduling of manpower and equipment of the hourly workforce while nurturing an environment that maximizes employee safety, involvement and morale, providing interpretation of the Collective Bargaining Agreement. Within the scope of his/her responsibility, the operations supervisor ensures safety is a number one priority through effective daily communications and action plan execution with employees while advocating injury/collision risk management and incident avoidance. The incumbent will further ensure optimized equipment utilization while driving overall cost reductions without impacting store delivery targets/service. This position provides strong technical support as well as direction, guidance & leadership to the Warehouse Department at an assigned distribution centre.
Salary range: $85,000 - $92,000 +10% bonus
