Warehouse Supervisor

Location: Prince Rupert, BC V8J 1M4 (On site)

Employment type: Permanent, Full time (32-37 hours per week)

Work schedule: Early morning, Day, Evening, Weekend; starts as soon as possible.

Salary: $36.70 per hour

Responsibilities
  • Organize tasks to accomplish the work.
  • Plan and organize operational logistics of the organization.
  • Co‑ordinate activities with other work units or departments.
  • Prepare and submit reports.
  • Ensure smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery.
  • Arrange for maintenance and repair work.
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Train workers in duties and policies.
  • Arrange training for staff.
  • Co‑ordinate, assign and review work.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies.
  • Organize and maintain inventory.
  • Establish work schedules and procedures.
Supervision

Number of subordinates: 3-4 people

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high school) graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 to less than 3 years.
  • Computer and technology knowledge: Inventory control software.
