Warehouse Operative (URGENT START REQUIRED)

  • Annual Salary: £27,000 per annum
  • Location: Enfield, North London
  • Job Type: Full-time (Permanent)

We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Operative to join our team. This role is crucial for ensuring the efficient and accurate completion of customer orders. The ideal candidate will have experience in a high-volume warehousing environment, preferably within a chemical setting, although this is not essential.

Responsibilities
  • Unload deliveries, ensuring delivery paperwork is dealt with correctly.
  • Ensure all delivered goods are stored in the correct locations.
  • Pick and pack goods as per customer orders.
  • Wrap and strap pallets ready for dispatch.
  • Conduct quality control checks on outgoing and incoming goods.
  • Ensure goods are dispatched within required lead times.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and tidy warehouse and yard.
  • Manage inventory control.
  • Cover for the warehouse supervisor in his absence.
  • Adhere to and maintain health and safety standards at all times.
