Job Summary
The Warehouse & Inventory Coordinator (SCM) plays a pivotal role in ensuring efficient inventory control and management of materials required for health supplement production, as well as finished products prepared for export. This role supports daily warehouse operations, monitors inventory accuracy, and coordinates with cross-functional teams to maintain optimal inventory flow.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Inventory Control, Monitoring, and Coordination
- Conduct routine stock checks and reconcile physical counts with system records.
- Maintain accurate inventory records, including descriptions, locations, and work-order-based adjustments.
- Manage material issues and receipts between production and warehouse, ensuring timely and accurate transactions.
- Monitor turnover to identify slow-moving/obsolete items and support demand forecasting.
- Collaborate with procurement, production, and logistics teams to ensure timely availability and shipment of goods.
- Partner with QA/QC to verify quality of incoming/outgoing items and manage non-conforming materials appropriately.
Documentation & Reporting
- Record and track inventory movements in QuickBooks and related ERP/WMS systems.
- Prepare and maintain receiving reports, transfer orders, adjustment records, and inventory reports.
- Provide analysis and performance data to support decision-making.
Audit & Compliance Support
- Support internal and external inventory audits, including year-end and cycle counts.
- Assist in preparing audit schedules, documentation, and reconciliation reports.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, safety standards, and company policies.
Warehouse Support
- Assist warehouse operations when needed, including receiving, picking, packing, labeling, and organizing stock.
Continuous Improvement
- Participate in cycle counts, storage optimization, and workflow enhancements.
- Recommend improvements to increase efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
Other
- Perform related duties as assigned by team or group leader.
Qualifications
- Fluent in Korean and English (required).
- Post-secondary in supply chain/logistics is an asset.
- Experience in warehouse operations or inventory control, preferably in manufacturing/health food.
- Proficiency with Excel and QuickBooks; ERP/WMS or other inventory software experience an asset.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
- Knowledge of inventory best practices (e.g., cycle counts, ABC analysis) and health food manufacturing processes is an advantage.
- Flexibility to work during peak periods as needed.
- Ability to lift up to 20kg and Valid forklift (Reach Truck) license and ability to operate warehouse equipment – preferred.
Job Type & Schedule
- Full-time, Permanent
- Monday to Friday, 8-hour shift
- Overtime available as required
