Qualifications

  • Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) with valid Ontario registration.
  • Current BCLS certification and clinical assessment expertise.
  • Experience in home and community care is an asset.

Core Competencies:
  • Registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) and in good standing
  • Experienced in Home and Community Care is an asset
  • Current BCLS certification (Level C)

  • Demonstrated effective communication skills
  • Charting on Procura is an asset
Requirements:
  • Clear & updated Vulnerable Sector Check (within last six months)
  • Valid Driver’s License & reliable car in community homecare is required
  • Up to date TB test within last 2 years
  • Must have your own:
    a) Stethoscope
    b) Blood pressure cuff and Sphygmomanometer

This is a specialty program for Peritoneal Dialysis (optional), Wound Care, IV Management, Diabetic Care & Post Operative Care in the community.
