The urology team in Kamloops is seeking a new colleague to join a busy, well-established practice. You will provide a full spectrum of urology services, including elective and emergency surgical care, outpatient clinics, and a variety of endoscopic and minimally invasive procedures. You will work alongside experienced surgeons, nurses, and allied health professionals in a supportive, collaborative team focused on high-quality, patient-centered care.

Royal Inland Hospital (RIH) is a 273-bed facility and the primary referral centre for nearly 250,000 individuals within the Thompson Cariboo Shuswap Health Service Area. As the region’s leading tertiary referral hospital and Level 1 Trauma Centre, RIH manages major trauma cases and Emergency Department visits annually. The Phil and Jennie Gaglardi Tower, a $417-million expansion opened in 2022, features advanced mental health units and surgical services. In 2024, a new post-anesthetic recovery room and pediatric unit were completed, with full completion of the emergency entrance anticipated by autumn 2026. A future $359-million cancer centre is planned to enhance cancer care by 2028.
RIH teams deliver comprehensive care across internal medicine, OB/GYN, general surgery, orthopedics, ophthalmology, ENT, pathology, psychiatry, pediatrics, anesthesia, radiology, urology, and family practice inpatient care.

Compensation Type: Fee-for-Service
Relocation Funding Available: up to $9,000 for moves within BC, up to $12,000 for moves within Canada, and up to $15,000 for moves from outside Canada. Relocation incentives are subject to change and current rates are confirmed at the time of offer.
