A leading mining company is looking for a Training Supervisor to ensure employees receive the necessary training to operate safely and productively. Located at Mary River Mine Site in Nunavut, the role involves coordinating training programs, compliance with safety standards, and mentoring employees. Candidates should have significant experience in training within the Mining or Heavy Equipment industry and hold relevant certifications.

Reporting to the Training Superintendent, the Training Supervisor is accountable for ensuring that employees receive the knowledge and practical training to be safe and productive. The Supervisor ensures that all training is in compliance with legislative requirements (OH&S Regulations, Explosives Act, etc) and in conformance with company policies/protocols, as well as the Inuit Impacts and Benefits Agreement (IIBA)
Establish and maintain communications with all stakeholders of the operation (workers, supervisors, department heads, etc.) to ensure training needs are identified and addressed in a timely manner and risks associated with the business are reduced in order to build and maintain a safe, cost effective, and productive operation.
