The Department of Biological Sciences brings together research teams committed to training qualified scientists and responsible citizens by engaging in research to advance knowledge and promoting quality teaching. The Department is composed of experts working in a multidisciplinary context to understand all facets of life, whether animal, plant, or microbial, from molecules to ecosystems, and to promote a sustainable environment for future generations.
