Job Description

Infosys is seeking a Technology Architect with Boomi Integration experience. As an Architect, you will be primarily responsible for developing Boomi processes in the scrum team. You will be responsible for deliverables in the scrum team and will also contribute in building reusable components on Boomi technologies. You will work closely with the technical lead in reviews and technical issue resolution and along with the scrum master to ensure timely deliverables of assigned work, interfaces, processes etc.

Required Qualifications

• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Ottawa, Ontario or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel.
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 7 years of Information Technology experience.
• Candidates authorized to work for any employer in Canada without employer-based visa sponsorship are welcome to apply. Infosys is unable to provide immigration sponsorship for this role at this time.
• Design, develop, test, and implement applications using COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, CICS, and other mainframe technologies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Analyze business requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and develop required solutions.
• Ability to analyze complex mainframe code & perform batch and online application development and support.
• Understanding of job scheduling tools (e.g., CA7, Control ‑ M).
• Optimize performance and troubleshoot system issues in production and non-production environments.Handle incident management, root cause analysis, and bug fixing for mainframe systems.
• Experience with Mainframe tools: Endevor, Change man, File-Aid, Abend-Aid, Xpeditor, TSO/ISPF.
• Knowledge of cloud‑mainframe integration (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Exposure to DevOps tools (Git, Jenkins, SonarQube, etc.).
• Strong problem‑solving and debugging skills and knowledge of Agile or Waterfall development methodologies.

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Extensive travel may be required as per the job requirements.

Estimated Annual Compensation Range

Ontario: $98,570 to $113,678.
