Job summary

A leading machinery manufacturer in Metro Vancouver is seeking a Technical Sales Representative to promote aftermarket parts and provide technical support. This role involves traveling to customer sites across Canada and internationally, developing customer relationships, and preparing detailed quotations. Ideal candidates will have strong mechanical aptitude, excellent communication skills, and experience in industrial sales. Qualifications

  • Experience in the OSB/wood products and/or machinery manufacturing industry is considered an asset.
  • Industrial sales experience is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Specifying, defining scope and preparing quotations for machine retrofits, upgrade packages and spare parts.
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with key customer contacts.
  • Providing technical support to customers.
  • Developing and maintaining experience appropriate levels of product knowledge on all lines of equipment.
  • Assist service department and customers in project preparation and planning.
  • Manage project schedules ensuring major milestones and customer deliverables are being met.

Education
