About the Role

The Technical Sales Specialist (TSS) is responsible for supporting field execution by identifying installation capacity, providing installer training, reinforcing best practices, and gathering real-time market and crew-level data within assigned territories. This role focuses on developing strong working relationships with franchisees and their team members, including operations managers, sales managers, installer crews, and subcontractors, to improve installation quality and increase overall efficiency.

The Technical Sales Specialist reports to the VP of Operations and focuses on technical execution and siding installation improvements, contributing to continuous improvement across the network.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Develop a strong understanding of company services, programs, and installation standards to effectively support franchisees and their crews.
  • Build and maintain positive working relationships with installers and subcontractors to improve retention, consistency, and quality.
  • Identify gaps in installation capability and provide hands‑on coaching through jobsite training, follow‑up visits, audits, and skill assessments.
  • Conduct installation assessments before and after training initiatives to track compliance, skill progression, and quality improvement.
  • Support joint action plans with leadership and partner with Technical Sales Managers to improve market execution, installation quality, and contractor performance.
  • Collect contractor economics data and real‑world feedback from crews regarding costs, challenges, and workflow barriers.
  • Manage a priority‑based weekly schedule focused on high‑impact visits, follow‑ups, and targeted territories.
What You Bring
  • Construction knowledge or hands‑on experience in siding installation or general construction.
  • Proven ability to succeed in a technical construction or field support role.
  • Strong understanding of construction operations and relevant building codes.
  • Experience with CRM and AI tools, Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Calendar, etc.)
  • Bachelor’s degree (preferred).
  • Valid driver’s license.
