Job Overview

Retail Sales Representatives (RSR) work as a member of a Retail Team of Experts to bring the T-Mobile brand to life. They’re brand ambassadors who build energy and excitement around our products and services. They thrive in a fast-paced environment where technology innovations, customer needs, and the retail experience are continually evolving. They build strong connections with customers and focus on uncovering needs, educating, demonstrating and recommending device and service solutions. This role is a learning role; new associates work with their team and proactively build skills and proficiencies. As a Retail Sales Representative, you will complete new employee training successfully.

Job Responsibilities

Build proficiency in serving and selling to customers while providing a world-class experience and building loyalty by:

  • Helping customers pick up where they left off in their shopping journey (online, Customer Care, or in-store).
  • Exploring individual needs and providing hands-on demonstrations of latest technology in-store.
  • Side-by-side selling to find personalized solutions beyond devices and service plans, including accessories and IoT devices.
  • Approaching service and sales needs with composure, integrity and compassion.
  • Becoming skilled with digital tools in interactions and onboarding to demonstrate:
  • How our expanding coverage stacks up in the customer’s neighborhood with a fast LTE network.
  • Why T-Mobile plans and services enable customers to live unlimited, stay connected and go further.
  • Completing training on in-store experience, new skills, processes, systems and resources.
  • Maximizing time on shift, learning about innovations in wireless and technology.
  • Cash Handling and Store Operations responsibilities as needed.
  • Establishing relationships with T-Mobile employees across channels to:
  • Own the customer experience and resolve issues, creating a seamless environment.
  • Identify and hand off small business leads.
  • Support team initiatives and foster an inclusive environment.

  • 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience; retail environment preferred.
