Status: Temporary, Full-time 4-month opportunities (May – August 2026).

ISC is hiring Summer Students across multiple departments and work areas. These roles provide hands‑on, meaningful work experience aligned with students’ education, while offering exposure to new skills, teams, and business areas.

Key Requirements
  • Completion of at least one year of post‑secondary education
  • Proof of enrollment in a post‑secondary program for September 2026
  • Application package must include a resume, cover letter, and unofficial transcripts

Applicants may indicate preferred placements during the application process; however, final assignments will be based on overall qualifications and organizational needs.

Accounting / Finance

Best Suited For: Students enrolled in Accounting, Finance, Business, or Commerce

  • Enter invoices and financial transactions accurately into financial systems.
  • Create, maintain, and reconcile spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel.
  • Assist with financial analysis, reporting, variance reviews, and month‑end activities.
  • Support system transformation initiatives, including data clean‑up and write‑off analysis.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and complete ad hoc finance‑related tasks as required.
Customer & Administrative Services

Best Suited For: Students enrolled in Office Administration/Business Administration

  • Provide front counter and building access support to customers and staff.
  • Complete Common Services tasks related to front counter operations.
  • Assist with building and corporate events, including staff initiatives and volunteer activities.
  • Support Corporate Registry tasks such as access codes and customer enrollments, as capacity allows.
  • Complete data entry, scanning, and document management tasks.
Contact Centre Support

Best Suited For: Students enrolled in Office Administration/Business Administration

  • Support phone queues, with priority coverage on Mondays and Fridays.
  • Provide accurate and professional customer service over the phone.
  • Assist with back‑up and filler tasks such as mailouts and cleanup projects.
  • Support ServiceNow profile updates and data cleanup activities.
  • Work collaboratively with the contact centre team to manage service demand.
Project Management Support

Best Suited For: Students enrolled in Project Management, Business Administration

  • Support Transformation and Operations projects across the organization.
  • Assist with project coordination, scheduling, and task tracking.
  • Prepare or update project documentation, reports, and status updates.
  • Work closely with project team members for support
Human Resources

Best Suited For: Students enrolled in Human Resources, Business Administration

  • Assist with recruitment activities, including posting jobs and coordinating interviews.
  • Provide general administrative support across HR, such as maintaining files, templates, and shared resources.
  • Assist the OD team with scheduling, materials preparation, and project‑related administrative tasks.
Registry / Product Policy

Best Suited for: Students who have completed at least one year of a law degree program

  • Assist the lawyers by conducting research on issues related to registry transactions.
  • Prepare summaries and briefing materials to support legal analysis and decision‑making.
  • Track legislative and common law updates relevant to the various public registries.
