Sr Business Systems Specialist

We are looking for a passionate Sr Business Systems Specialist to ensure daily tasks are organized, maintain essential quality standards, understand current business processes, and collaborate with stakeholders on continuous improvement initiatives.

Your Role in the Game

Reporting to the Sr Manager LBG Systems & Product, you will be empowered to:

  • Lead business task completion to ensure a consistent approach is applied.
  • Develop thorough understanding of business goals, outcomes, practices and processes to translate them into system functionality.
  • Validate solution fit for business (e.g., user acceptance testing, defect & issue reporting).
  • Lead development of documentation for new and modified business policies and procedures (e.g., SOPs and workflows) to ensure effective implementation of technology solutions and consistent outputs.
  • Proactively identify and evaluate risks impacting system performance and functionality, ensuring continuity and reliability of critical processes through mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to meet business objectives and timelines.
  • Lead business in process implementation, including:
    • identify use cases for UAT, systems testing and gap analysis;
    • provide recommendations for problem resolution and define the range of functions;
    • provide input or validation of end-user training materials to ensure a smooth transition to business as usual.
  • Maintain domain and industry expertise and identify opportunities to streamline requirements, processes and workflows through continuous improvement.
  • Execute documented business processes aligned to the department's conduct and manage responsibilities.
  • Handle moderate to high complexity business requirements and configurations.
  • Performs additional tasks to support evolving business needs and operational excellence.
What You Need To Play

Work Experience: 3+ years in a medium-to-large business environment; flexibility to work occasional weekends on a rotation; gaming experience and/or knowledge of Gaming Management Systems (GMS) is an asset.

Knowledge and Education: Post-secondary diploma/degree in information systems or business administration or equivalent experience. Understanding of business assessment and requirements analysis; knowledge of technology practices and business approaches; proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
