Responsibilities
  • Sodexo is growing and is looking for a Sous Chef to join our dynamic team. This is a full-time role. You will be offered a great team environment, work/life balance, and the ability to cook healthy and appealing menus for consumers. Working hours: 21 - 23/H (note: adjust as per actual schedule).
  • Support the Executive Chef and team to coordinate and direct all retail food and services.
  • Prepare meals following standardized recipes and according to departmental policies and procedures.
  • Prepare and serve meals with attractive presentation and high quality.
  • Work within a set budget to reduce waste and improve production, safety, and sanitation in food services.
  • Participate in menu planning, estimate quantities, and requisition supplies of food.
  • Complete all HACCP-related documentation provided by management; perform other duties as requested.
  • Work in high-volume cooking and catering environments with a focus on quality and efficiency.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 1 to 2 years of experience in a food service environment and high-volume cooking; catering experience is a plus.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and anticipate and solve problems; maintain sanitation standards at the highest level.
  • Red Seal is an asset.
  • Experience with HACCP, food safety, and OHS standards.
