Job summary

A digital marketing firm is seeking a part-time Social Media Ads Specialist to manage paid campaigns on LinkedIn and Meta. This remote contract role requires the specialist to plan, create, and optimize campaigns while providing clear performance reports. Candidates must be incorporated businesses or sole proprietors, preferably located in Canada or other North American time zones. Ideal candidates will have experience in social media advertising and be comfortable working independently.

Contract Social Media Ads Specialist (LinkedIn, Meta, etc.)

Remote · Contractor (Incorporated or Sole Proprietor only)

We’re looking for a contracted Social Media Ads Specialist to help us plan, create, and manage paid campaigns on LinkedIn and Meta (Facebook & Instagram). This is a remote, part‑time contract role.

You must be an incorporated company or registered sole proprietor to be eligible. Preference will be given to candidates based in Canada or within a North American time zone.

Responsibilities
  • Plan, build, and optimize paid campaigns on LinkedIn and Meta.
  • Create engaging ad copy, headlines, and basic creatives (using Canva or similar tools).
  • Set up targeting, audiences, and tracking (pixels, UTMs, etc. where applicable).
  • Monitor performance and provide simple, clear reports with recommendations.
  • Test different creatives, audiences, and formats to improve results continually.
  • Coordinate with our team to ensure brand consistency and aligned messaging.
Contract Details

Contract role (not an employee position). Remote work. Flexible hours, with some overlap in North American business hours required. Compensation commensurate with experience and scope of work.

  • Comfortable working independently, hitting deadlines, and communicating clearly.
  • Able to invoice as an incorporated business or sole proprietor.
