Scope of the Position

The Service Technician is responsible for assembling customized electrical manufacturing products built to customer requirements including custom distribution panels, Industrial Automation and Process Controls.

Major Responsibilities

• Customize and fabricate electrical panels, switchboards and switchgear.
• Assist in repairs to equipment requiring service from the customer.
• Operate and maintain busbar bender, CNC box cutter, and other power tools.
• Document, complete and maintain all service forms, reports, logs and records of repairs, in-progress and completed work.
• Follow all proper safety practices and ensure compliance of regulatory requirements while maintaining a safe work environment for all.
• Support the Company\'s quality process to achieve total satisfaction of customer\'s requirements per specifications.
• Assist in on site work when required.
• Conduct other duties and project work as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma required.
• 1-3 years experience in a similar role preferred.
• Mechanical and/or electrical knowledge or experience an asset.
