A leading space analytics company is looking for a Software Engineer for their Space Reliability Engineering team in Cambridge. The role involves automating mission execution, analyzing telemetry data, and collaborating with various teams using Python. Ideal candidates should have over 5 years of experience, particularly with Linux and containerization. A hybrid work model applies with benefits including generous time off and health coverage.
As a Software Engineer working with the Space Reliability Engineering team, you will be working with a small team in an agile environment. You will be working on systems and tools that improve the efficiency of the satellite fleet. Some specific areas include:
Candidates should have experience implementing systems using Python, including integrating with a diverse set of data stores and cloud services. They will need to interface with many teams across Spire to adapt user needs into system requirements and have the experience to collaborate and iterate on the resultant projects.
Spire operates a hybrid work model, and this position will require you to work a minimum of three days per week in the office.
Access to US export-controlled software and/or technology may be required for this role. If needed, Spire will arrange the necessary licenses—this is not something candidates need to have before applying.
The anticipated base salary range for this position is listed below. Final base compensation, this role may be eligible for annual equity awards and our employee benefits program, including vacation, sick, and personal time off; optional medical, dental, vision, life, and disability coverage; a Registered Retirement Savings Plan; health and wellness reimbursement program; and participation in Spire’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan. We reserve the right to go outside of the range and/or modify the range or benefits at any time.
Canada Salary Range
¤160,000—¡520,000 CAD
