Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP HR Core Consultant to support HR transformation initiatives. This is a fully remote contract opportunity based in Canada, where you will work closely with global teams to design, configure, and implement SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central (HR Core) solutions that drive efficiency, data accuracy, and compliance across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and support the configuration and implementation of SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central (HR Core) for Canadian and global HR operations.
  • Manage employee master data, organizational structures, position management, and time-off processes.
  • Ensure accurate data modeling aligned with business requirements, local regulations, and global best practices.
  • Collaborate with HR, payroll, finance, and IT teams to integrate SAP HR Core with other systems such as payroll, benefits, and reporting tools.
  • Develop workflows, approval processes, and data access controls to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Provide expertise on compliance with Canadian labor laws, data privacy regulations (e.g., PIPEDA), and reporting requirements.
  • Support testing, validation, and training efforts to ensure successful adoption of HR systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve configuration issues and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience implementing and supporting SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central (HR Core).
  • Strong knowledge of HR processes including employee lifecycle, organizational management, time off, and compliance.
  • Experience working with global HR structures and data models.
  • Familiarity with Canadian payroll requirements, labor laws, and privacy regulations is highly preferred.
  • Experience with integrations between SAP HR Core and other systems such as Employee Central Payroll (ECP), Finance, or Talent Management.
