About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join our Finance Solutions team. In this role, you will be a key contributor to process modernization and cross-functional transformation initiatives. Your efforts will enable scalable automation, enhance operational efficiency, and support a culture of continuous improvement across Finance Operations. What You'll Do
- Identify and implement opportunities to simplify and automate Finance Operations processes.
- Lead the development of automation solutions using tools such as Alteryx, Power BI, Power Automate, and ChatGPT, or through collaboration with IT and RPA teams.
- Develop process documentation, standard operating procedures, and training materials to support the adoption and sustainability of re-engineered processes.
- Partner with Directors and VPs to communicate results and manage project planning.
- Design and maintain dashboards and reporting tools to communicate operational performance through KPIs, benchmarking, and exception reporting.
- Manage data pipelines, including accessing raw data feeds, building SQL queries, and preparing structured datasets for analysis and visualization.
- Support change management activities by developing rollout strategies, engaging stakeholders, and incorporating feedback into process improvements.
- Own and maintain financial data processes aligned with Finance Operations to ensure quality and readiness for advanced analytics.
- Provide ongoing support to process owners through governance frameworks and accessible tools.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement by equipping teams with accurate data and process insights.
Basic Requirements
- Bachelor\'s Degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Data Analysis, or related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years\' experience in business process engineering, finance modernization, management consulting, or as a finance data analyst.
- Strong analytical skills with ability to link data and insights to business strategy and operational improvements.
- Skilled in data visualization, KPI reporting, root cause analysis, and financial modeling.
- Proficiency with SQL/SnowSQL and business intelligence/automation tools (Power BI, Power Automate, Alteryx, Smartsheet).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience creating process documentation, training materials, and reports for business change initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with enterprise systems such as SAP S4/HANA and OneStream.
- Experience leveraging AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT) for automation and productivity.
- Advanced Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio) proficiency.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly in fast-paced environments, work independently, and drive continuous improvement.

Toronto
The hiring base salary range for this position is $76,300 - $108,240 annually. Actual compensation within this range will be dependent upon the individual\'s knowledge, skills, experience, equity with other team members, and alignment with market data. Please note that the disclosed salary range is solely for candidates hired to perform work within this geographic location. Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location.
