Overview

Job Functions
  • First contact for Enbridge Centre security staff, Mobile Supervisors, and Portfolio Clients in the event of emergency, incident, or inquiry.
  • Operate as a portfolio client liaison for Enbridge Centre static security and special events at the site.
  • Act as Event Security Commander or Coordinator during special and VIP events when required.
  • Required to oversee all aspects of OH&S program at Enbridge Centre, including WCB and First Aid reporting, Accident Investigations, and Near Miss Reporting.
  • Report any health or safety deficiencies on Enbridge Centre static security identified by client, Field Manager or Client Service Manager and communicate up the chain-of-command.
  • Review, approve, and follow up with all incident reports as required.
  • Prepare operational resources for additional static security requests as necessary.
  • Facilitate after hours event or special coverage operations in cooperation with the Field Manager.
  • Assist in developing job position profiles for various roles within Enbridge Centre.
  • Assist in developing new work schedules based on identification of data driven
  • Investigate and analyze financial results pertaining to Enbridge Centre static security; manage cost of sale margins; overtime and overhead; and provide operational context.
  • Work with Portfolio Resource Coordinators (PRC) to ensure scheduling resources are available if needed or actively schedule resources in absence of the PRC.
  • Manage and collect data for KPI’s in different verticals and be proficient with TrackTik logistics.
  • Develop relationships with all employees building rapport and demonstrating strong leadership while supporting employee training and development.
  • Ensure adherence to the policies outlined in Paladin’s Code of Ethics and Employee Manual.
  • Relay disciplinary concerns to the CSM as appropriate.
  • When required, quote new jobs and/or establish and consult with the client regarding security services and the “Paladin Difference”.
  • Conduct new employee interviews for Enbridge Centre
  • Regularly meet with and brief the CSM on ongoing field operations and training classes.
  • Complete other duties as necessary at the request of the CSM.
Job Requirements
  • Valid Alberta Security License
  • Valid AGLC ProServe and ProTect Liquor
  • Prior security experience required at a supervisory or junior management
  • Working knowledge of appropriate legislation and provincial/national standards on fire safety, security, and protection of privacy.
  • Valid Class 5 non GDL license with clean 3 year abstract
  • Must have strong leadership, time management and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Proficiency in TEAM Software and Tracktik
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong working relationships both internally and externally.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certified Protection Officer (CPO) designation through International Foundation for Protection Officers.
  • Experience in security management and protection at a senior level
  • Basic Emergency Management and Incident Command
  • Basic CPTED (Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design) training.
