Brown & Brown is seeking a Sales & Service Insurance Advisor, Personal Lines to join our growing team in Markham, Ontario!

The Sales & Service Insurance Advisor, Personal Lines will deliver exceptional customer service by managing team and individual performance metrics, handling new business and policy changes within service standards, and providing insurance solutions through expert consultation and up-to-date market knowledge.

Responsibilities
  • Manage phone queue metrics with your team to ensure optimal availability for customers.
  • Manage pipeline and quote metrics using CRM software.
  • New business leads to be contacted within service level standards.
  • Policy changes and inquiries handled within service level standards.
  • Provide exceptional customer experience on the phone and through email.
  • Prepare quotes for new business using ARS, Applied Rating Services, or company portals.
  • Provide insurance consultation by recommending appropriate insurance coverage.
  • Keeping current on carrier underwriting, marketplace trends and continuous education.
  • Handle all customer touch points with an insurance solution mindset.
Licenses and Certifications
  • RIBO or OTL license required
Skills & Experience to be Successful
  • Post-Secondary Education
  • Experience with TAM or EPIC is an asset.
  • Prior customer experience training an asset.
  • Over one-year personal lines experience in sales or service.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to multitask using digital procedures and technology.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office – Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Advanced written and verbal skills to help manage high customer expectations and to resolve conflicts.
