Overview

We are seeking TWO motivated Sales Managers to join our Sales & Marketing team. This role offers the opportunity to represent advanced industrial equipment, travel, and build lasting client relationships while contributing to our company's continued growth.

Position Details

• Location: Open to candidates located anywhere across Canada.
• Compensation: This position would pay $19-20 per hour plus 10-15% commission per sale.
• Benefits: Health insurance will be available after a 3-month probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Actively achieve sales targets and grow the customer portfolio.
• Manage and follow sales projects through to customer delivery.
• Develop and maintain long-term relationships with customers.
• Prepare monthly analyses and reports on sales and ongoing projects.
• Promote and sell a range of industrial machinery, including but not limited to:
• Metalworking machines (laser cutting machines, laser welding machines, sheet metal forming machines, press brakes, etc.).
• Woodworking machines (dovetailing machines, CNC routers, saws, presses, lathes, etc.).

Work Structure and Travel

• Travel required within your local town, across Canada, and the United States.
• Typical schedule, depending on workload: 3 to 4 days on the road visiting clients or trade shows, 1 to 2 days in the office.

Job Requirements

• University degree from a reputable institution
• Excellent command of English, with proficiency in French and/or Spanish highly preferred and considered a strong asset.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in machine or tools sales.
• Enthusiastic about building a career in sales and marketing.
• Team-oriented with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Analytical, solution-oriented, patient, and self-confident.
• Strong planning, organization, and time management skills.
• Ability to travel extensively within Canada and the United States.
• Valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle.
• Must have resided in Canada for at least 5 years.

Company Description

Moon Machinery is general distributor of wood and metalworking machines in Canada and the United States.

We sell, service, and provide spare parts for all of the machines we carry, sourcing primarily from China, Italy and Turkey.

Our sales are built on strong in-person relationships that we generate at trade shows or through on-site customer visits.
