Your main responsibilities

The Sales Coordinator is responsible for managing and continuously improving support and coordination services for all Existing Installation (EI) projects. Working with EI sales and operations you will drive growth, ensuring customers are always supported and additional opportunities are never missed.

Sales / Customer Orientation

  • Cultivate a strong understanding of Schindler's service offerings
  • Partner with account managers and branch teams to align on customer needs and support end-to-end sales efforts
  • Maintain ongoing communication with customers to ensure satisfaction and uncover additional opportunities
  • Prepare estimates for new opportunities and process bookings as required
  • Support bid and quotation process

Administration/Coordination

  • Assist in auditing and processing of maintenance contracts
  • Prepare quotes, proposals, and assist in contract documentation as needed
  • Attend sales meetings, prepare and distribute minutes
  • Issue and track purchase orders in SAP
  • Assist with collections

Knowledge

  • Post Secondary Education and/or related experience

Critical Skills

  • Strong customer and service orientation, including excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively develop expectations and relationships with internal and external customers
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Organization: Possess excellent organization skills with the ability to balance high volume of activities and changing priorities
  • Problem Solving: Information seeking and achievement orientation, ability to solve problems both independently and collaboratively
  • Teamwork: Ability to interact with all levels and foster a teamwork relationship
