What we are looking for

The Customer Resident Engineer acts as the primary technical liaison between Allot and our key client. Stationed directly at the customer’s facility, you will serve as the "voice of the customer" to our internal engineering teams and the "face of the product" to the client.

The goal of this role is to accelerate product integration, resolve technical bottlenecks in real-time, and foster a trusted partnership by providing immediate, on-site engineering support. reporting to the Regional Delivery Manager you will work closely with Allot’s customer and internal organizations.

What you will do
  • Responsible for deploying Allot’s products at our customers which may include testing and working with customer organizations to coordinate maintenance windows and support
  • Responsible for execution of proof of concepts, trials, Interoperability Testing (IoT) and demos
  • Deliver on-site technical training to partners and customers
  • Create technical documents including ATP (Acceptance Test Plan) and MOPs (Method of Procedure)
  • Stage Allot systems offered to customers in the lab to verify customer use cases and functionality.
  • Represent Allot as technical expert in front of Allot’s customers and partners.
  • Participate in an on-call shift to support select customers.
What you should have
  • 3+ years as a Professional Services Engineer / Customer Resident Engineer in telecommunications or network security companies
  • Expert in Linux administration with strong hands-on experience
  • Expert in Networking with hands on experience in configuration and troubleshooting of Routers, Switches and Firewalls
  • Strong troubleshooting abilities in LDAP, DNS
  • Strong hands-on experience in Virtualization such as VMware – ESXi, vSphere and vCenter
  • Proven experience with cloud native infrastructure: e.g. KDS, Kubernetes, TKG
  • Strong technical troubleshooting capabilities
  • Bachelor degree in computer science or equivalent area of engineering study
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Service oriented
  • Willingness and ability to work irregular hours

  • Knowledge of VPNs, IPS/IDS, anti DDoS and other network security technologies.
