Position Overview

The Repair and Restoration Coordinator ensures projects are delivered efficiently, on time, and within budget while maintaining the highest customer service standards. In this fast-paced role, you’ll oversee daily operations, support staffing needs, and coordinate communications with clients, adjusters, and stakeholders to drive project success.

What You’ll Do
  • Establish and implement procedures to improve efficiency and support safety policies.
  • Maintain and control production schedules, crew assignments, and staffing levels.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, vacation approvals, and attendance tracking.
  • Monitor project outcomes, quality, and budgets for optimal performance.
  • Oversee equipment, fleet, and tool management, including maintenance and repairs.
  • Conduct job site visits to ensure quality service, budget compliance, and safety standards.
  • Support Project Managers on large-scale restoration projects and emergency responses.
  • Coordinate staff, equipment, and safety during after-hours and on-call situations.
  • Organize staff training and orientation in compliance with Health & Safety requirements.
  • Ensure hazard-free job sites through inspections, proper PPE use, and documentation.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, adjusters, and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate across departments to ensure timely, seamless project completion.
  • Perform other reasonable duties as assigned.
What You Bring
  • High school diploma or GED
  • 2+ years of leadership experience.
  • Experience in construction, restoration, or insurance industries.
  • Strong attention to detail and respect for clients’ property and information.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean abstract (per BELFOR Auto Policy).
Nice to Have
  • Post-secondary education in business, construction, or project management.
  • 4+ years of experience in construction, restoration, or insurance industries.
  • IICRC certification (WRT, Fire & Smoke, or AMRT).
  • Knowledge of provincial health and safety standards and WCB compliance.
  • Proficiency in Xactimate, Xactanalysis, Microsoft Office, and Google Suite.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
Working Conditions
  • Due to the nature of our business, this position will work normal business hours but may be required to work in the evenings, on-call, or outside normal working hours;
  • Perform tasks requiring mobility in tight or confined spaces, sustained physical activity (standing, lifting, walking, bending, kneeling), and working at heights over 5 feet as needed;
  • Manual dexterity for keyboarding, repetitive tasks, and prolonged periods of computer use, demanding attention to detail and high levels of accuracy; and
  • Periodic travel may be required.
