Overview

Perth Medical Clinic is seeking an enthusiastic RPN candidate to work with our group of 7 family physicians and collegial clinic staff. We are offering a full time permanent position starting at the end of September.

Responsibilities

• Rooming patients and obtaining vitals based on clinical scenario
• Documentation in Electronic Medical Record (Telus PS Suites)
• Communicating with patients by telephone
• Performing injections for patients
• Performing initial work up for certain clinic visit types (e.g. well baby visits, prenatal visits, diabetic visits, etc).
• Assisting physicians with minor office procedures
• Processing tools for autoclaving

Training

Training will be provided to the successful candidate.

Ideal candidate / Qualifications

• Have a minimum 1 year of experience in outpatient clinic nursing.
• Have experience with using an Electronic Medical Record.
• Be capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
• Be eager to learn new skills.
• CPR Certification (preferred)
• Nursing license (required)
• LPN/RPN (preferred)
