Community Visit Nurse - Registered Nurse / Registered Practical Nurse

Access Healthcare Services Inc. is looking for RPNs and RNs with a passion for home and community care to join our growing team and support the Orleans area.

What will you do
  • Provide in-home high quality client centered care
  • Complete comprehensive client assessments to develop collaborative holistic care planning
  • Work to the full scope of practice as outlined by the CNO Professional Standards and AHS policies and procedures
  • Upholds the mission vision and values of AHS
  • Adheres to infection prevention & control measures and nursing best practice standards
  • Participates in ongoing continuing education and professional development
  • Reports consults and collaborates with members of the interdisciplinary health care team
  • Participates in the on-call nursing rotation
What will you need
  • Registered Nurse or Registered Practical Nurse in good standing with CNO
  • Proof of Covid-19 vaccination
  • Vehicle required with valid drivers license
  • Car insurance with a liability of $2 million
  • Valid CPR
  • Step 2 TB Test (Completed within the last 2 years)
  • Vulnerable Sector Police Check (less than 3 months old)
  • Excellent assessment documentation verbal and communication skills
The skills and qualities we look for
  • 1 year community nursing experience preferred but not essential
  • New graduates are welcome to apply
  • Bilingualism considered an asset
