Overview

We are a well-established family practice with a caring team providing comprehensive primary health care to over 2000 patients. We work as part of a multidisciplinary care team with the Thames Valley Family Health Team.

Position

The Registered Practical Nurse provides support to the routine operations in the outpatient family medicine office.

Responsibilities

• Provide episodic care under a medical order or directive


• Support routine operations in the outpatient family medicine office


• Collaborate with community resources as needed


• Establish positive interpersonal relationships and work as an effective team member

Qualifications

• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario


• Ability to provide episodic care under a medical order or directive


• Knowledge and experience working collaboratively with community resources


• Proficiency in the use of computer and previous experience with an Electronic Medical Record (EMR)


• Must be capable of establishing positive interpersonal relationships and able to work as an effective team member
