A community-focused educational institution located in Lethbridge, Alberta is seeking a dynamic Recruiter. This full-time role involves engaging with prospective learners, conducting presentations, and coordinating recruitment events while fostering a welcoming environment. Ideal applicants will possess a minimum 2-year diploma and strong customer service skills. Extensive travel in region is required for this role, as well as flexibility for evening and weekend events. The position offers competitive pay aligned with Class Level 9 standards.

Are you energetic, service-oriented, and excited to connect with people and guide them on their educational path? This front-line role works with prospective learners, as well as internal and external stakeholders, to develop and implement enrolment initiatives and events that support institutional student recruitment goals. Recruiters focus on connecting with future students through a collaborative provincial-wide recruitment effort, one‑on‑one appointments, high school and community presentations, and by supporting on and off campus events.
Recruiters seek out opportunities to engage with prospective students by researching upcoming events, evaluating potential impact and return on investment, and planning resources required to attend events (including booking travel arrangements). A high degree of flexibility, time management skills, and professionalism are required for this role. Recruiters are the face of Lethbridge Polytechnic and often the first person our prospective students interact with. Being friendly and welcoming at all times is a must. This position requires extensive travel in Alberta and surrounding provinces, including evening and weekend work.
AUPE Class Level 9, Step 1 – $27.42 per hour.
