What You’ll Do
As a Quality Technician, you’ll play a key role in ensuring that products meet the highest standards and that processes are running smoothly. You will:
- Assist with the development, implementation, and ongoing improvement of quality control systems
- Monitor and assess production processes to maintain quality standards and boost customer satisfactionConduct internal audits, inspections, and contribute to audit readiness for external assessments
- Investigate non-conformances and support corrective and preventive actions
- Work closely with engineering, production, and other departments to resolve issues and strengthen quality outcomes
- Maintain detailed quality documentation—inspection records, audit reports, corrective actions, and more
- Prepare and present quality reports to leadership
- Support training initiatives related to quality systems, standards, and best practices
- Champion a culture of quality and continuous improvement across the plant
- Work with suppliers to ensure incoming materials meet specifications, including participation in supplier audits when required
What You Bring
- Technologist/Technician Diploma in Engineering
- Experience in a manufacturing environment (1–3 years ideal), automotive manufacturing experience is a strong asset
- Understanding of quality tools, quality systems, design output, metrology, and instrumentation
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- CQE certification or progress toward one is considered an asset
Working Conditions
- Primarily based in a modern manufacturing environment
- Exposure to typical industrial conditions (noise, machinery, chemicals, etc.)
- Occasional travel to supplier locations or partner sites
