A leading IT management company in Winnipeg is looking for a qualified consultant for a contract role focused on enhancing health services through project management. This 6-month onsite position requires a strong background in organizational change management and extensive experience with cross-functional teams. Candidates should possess certifications in project management and have experience engaging clinical stakeholders. A diversity of perspectives is highly valued for this role.

• We’re a team of 50+ staff and a network of 200+ alumni with 17+ years of experience delivering SAP solutions.
Shared Health leads the planning and coordinates the integration of patient-centred clinical and preventive health services across Manitoba. The organization also delivers some province-wide health services and supports centralized administrative and business functions for Manitoba health organizations.
The Lower Wait Times and System Improvement initiative is focused on improving wait times and system efficiencies in Emergency Departments and inpatient units across Winnipeg. Several projects have been implemented and now require support to monitor and assess impacts.
Work will include engaging diverse stakeholders across clinical leadership, frontline providers and developing change management adoption and reinforcement strategies.
Valid Prosci (ADKAR) Organizational Change Management certification.
Valid Project Management certification.
Bachelor’s degree in Health, Science or Engineering.
Valid Prince2 Foundation or higher, or PMI project management certification.
10 years’ experience in leading cross-functional teams in business transformation initiatives. Experience should include analysis, design and implementation. The response should include at least 3 examples including duration of the project or work that total at least 10 years. At least 1 example should be from a healthcare environment.
5 years’ experience leading organizational change management (OCM) activities organizational readiness assessments. The response should include at least 2 examples including duration of the project or work that total at least 5 years. At least one example must follow the Prosci change management methodology.
5 years’ experience leading business transformation, overseeing adoption of best practices, coaching and mentoring practitioners, providing quality assurance on work products, and monitoring project impacts post-implementation. The response should include at least 2 examples including duration of the project or work that total at least 5 years.
5 years’ experience working with clinical stakeholders to elicit and document requirements and develop them into specifications or business process solutions in a healthcare setting. The response should include at least 2 examples including duration of the project or work that total at least 5 years.
1 year of experience implementing a technology solution in a healthcare environment including requirements gathering and process flows. The response should include at least 1 example including duration of the project or work that totals at least 1 year.
1 year of experience analyzing and implementing business architecture and strategic roadmaps for acute care facilities. This experience should include coaching and supporting top-level management and executives. The response should include at least 1 example including duration of the project or work that totals at least 1 year.
