A global engineering firm is seeking a Project Controller in Hamilton, Ontario, to provide financial and change management support on various engineering projects. This full-time position involves collaboration with project managers to develop budgets, analyze project forecasts, and monitor project progress. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of project controls, cost management, and financial analysis, along with excellent communication skills. Prior experience in project controls or accounting is preferred.

Our Ontario West based Transportation Business Line has a need for a Project Controller in a full-time permanent capacity, based in one of our offices in southwestern Ontario (Hamilton, Waterloo, or London). As Project Controller you will be working closely with the team of Project Managers and Leadership in the Transportation Business Line to provide financial and change management support on scope, schedule, and cost throughout the life cycle of projects. Our projects are multi-discipline, engineering, water, landscape architectural, planning, etc. that can include some or all of the following project phases: conceptual, preliminary design, detailed design, and construction phases. As a project controls professional at Stantec, you will utilize your expertise in financial planning, scheduling, cost controls, communications, and problem solving in a fast-paced, professional environment to assist the Transportation team with project delivery and program development.
