Toromont Reman is looking for a Production Planner to join our team!

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Compensation: $60,000 to $70,000

In a typical day, YOU will:

• Demonstrate safe, environmentally sound and healthy work behaviors at all times in support of Toromont’s Health and Safety Policy/Programs and initiatives
• Scheduling/Prioritizing of manpower across 3 shifts in the Machine, Powertrain and Hydraulic shop for a 7-day operation
• Maintain appropriate schedules in electronic format
• Primary contact for our exchange department
• Attend production shop meetings to provide details on production schedule and delivery commitments
• Co-ordinate arrivals into the production shop with exchange team
• Order standard parts kits to cover the production shop demand
• Manage local purchases
• Assist with warranty/goodwill processing as needed
• Other duties as assigned by the Production Shop Manager

Must-haves for this role:

• Post-Secondary Education with technical focus and/or 5yrs proven experience in a comparable industrial environment
• Must be familiar with the Cat Product Line
• Customer centric with excellent relationship management, interpersonal, organizational and communication skills with a high attention to detail
• Self-motivated and energetic team player who can work effectively in a high demand fast paced environment
• Able to take the initiative and work with minimal supervision
• Ability to function in a fast paced environment
• Computer knowledge including Microsoft Excel, Word, Access and DBS (desirable)
• Knowledge of CAT SIS, or experience with Toromont parts operations would be an asset
• Willing and able to work flexible hours in support of the business needs
