Lightspeed is looking for an Intermediate Mobile Product Designer to join our X-Series Mobile Register team. Our retailers rely on the mobile register for their daily checkout and payment needs. In addition to offering the core functionality of a traditional POS, the mobile register provides added flexibility and convenience—ideal for dynamic retail environments where sales may happen outside the store. In this role, you’ll focus on enhancing the mobile experience on iPad using our newly developed mobile design system. You’ll also play a key role in supporting and mentoring other designers in mobile design best practices, while contributing to the evolution of our mobile design library.
The ideal candidate has experience designing iOS applications for iPad, with a strong understanding of native design principles using Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines (HIG), and experience conducting user testing. You excel at identifying opportunities to deliver customer value and thrive in cross-functional collaboration with engineers and product managers to create exceptional user experiences.
