Qualifications

• Must have non-restricted registration in good standing as a Primary Care Paramedic.
• Hold current Basic Cardiac Life Support CPR certification.
• Must obtain a valid class 4 Alberta Operator License or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assess emergency scenes and patients and transport them when necessary.
• Administer minor medications and provide basic life support.
• Ensure EMS vehicles are properly stocked and equipped.
• Travel in all weather conditions and to remote locations.

Skills

Non-restricted registration with Alberta College of Paramedics

Current Basic Cardiac Life Support CPR certification

Valid class 4 Alberta Operator License

Good physical condition and endurance

Education

Completion of post-secondary education credentials
