Job summary

A home care service provider in Newmarket seeks a compassionate Caregiver/Personal Support Worker. You will assist clients with personal care and provide emotional support within a private residence. Job description

In-Home Assisted Living Inc.is looking for compassionate, caring and reliable individuals to join our family. As a Caregiver/Personal Support Workeryou will support our clients in Newmarket.The work setting is within aprivate residence. Hours required 1:00 pm-8:00 pm and overnights.

As a IHAL employee, you will make a difference in the lives of our clients and their families through compassionate client-focused care.

How you will spend your days:
Assist clients with personal care, hygiene, and grooming (Activities of Daily Living - ADLs)
Perform light housekeeping tasks (Instrumental Activities of Daily Living - IADLs), including vacuuming, laundry, and washing dishes
Prepare basic meals
Provide medication reminders
Assist clients with mobility, ambulation, and transfers
Offer companionship and emotional support
Respond to emergency situations
Complete daily shift reports to communicate with Case Managers

Success in this role:
Personal Support Worker Certificate or Health Care Aide, DSW, Foreign Trained Nurses, Nursing Leadership, Caregiver with Life Experience
Current CPR/First Aid Certification Preferred
Documentation skills
