About the Role

We are looking for a hardworking, innovative and upbeat Payroll Consultant to join our team. In this role you will ensure the successful implementation of the Workday Payroll solution with customers through product and implementation expertise. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience with payroll, time and absence software products, requirements gathering, configuration, data conversion, and testing. You should be detail oriented, self-motivated, proactive, results-oriented and able to successfully partner with customers and your project team. Be ready to be challenged and have fun!

Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • Become a Workday expert in the area of Payroll
  • Understand and use Workday’s Implementation Methodology
  • On client engagements: understand client business requirements, configure the Workday solution, demonstrate configurations through prototype configurations, convert data, and assist the client in testing
  • Ensure clients understand and correctly use the Workday product and delivered configuration
  • Deliver successful project outcomes and lasting client relationships
  • Assist the client in converting legacy data into Workday
  • Assist the Integration Consulting team with configuring and testing integrations between Workday and 3rd party or custom solutions
  • Mentor new consultants by sharing knowledge
  • Participate in regular training to expand product knowledge with each new Workday release

About You

We will hire at different levels dependent upon experience.

Basic Qualifications (P4)

  • 7+ years of functional experience with Payroll software solutions or systems
  • 3+ years experience using French and English in a professional setting
  • 3+ years consulting experience with a professional services company or internal consulting
  • 3+ years implementing or working with Workday, SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, ADP or similar applications

Basic Qualifications (P3)

  • 5+ years of functional experience with Payroll software solutions or systems
  • 3+ years experience using French and English in a professional setting
  • 3+ years consulting experience with a professional services company or internal consulting
  • 3+ years implementing or working with Workday, SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, ADP or similar applications

Other Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, including active listening and the ability to tailor communication to diverse audiences
  • Strong industry knowledge and awareness of trends, regulatory environments, and competitive landscapes
  • Strong influencing skills and the ability to drive consensus and collaborate with stakeholders
  • Exceptional relationship management skills with clients, partners, and colleagues
  • Mentorship abilities and comprehensive product knowledge
  • Proven ability to gather and analyze requirements and to design solutions using technology
  • Strategic business consulting experience is highly desired
  • Excellent task management and time management skills
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
