Job Summary & Requirements

To assist with the provision of patient care and the efficient operation of the unit/area under the direction of a health care professional.

Education:

• Completed a recognized program for personal support worker
• Current Basic Rescuer Certificate in Basic Cardiac Life support or willingness to obtain within 3 months of hiring
• Member of the Ontario Personal Support Worker Association (OPSWA) and/or Personal Support Network of Ontario (PSNO) is an asset
  
  

Experience:

• Previous patient care experience in health care environment or health related community work, preferred
