A leading educational institution in Edmonton is seeking an Operations Administrative Assistant to support operational activities within the JR Shaw School of Business. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills and provide administrative support to Associate Deans. Responsibilities include managing schedules, coordinating meetings, and supporting enrollment strategies. This full-time role offers an annual salary between $48,257.04 and $62,451.48 plus benefits.

Reporting to the Academic Strategy and Operations Manager, the Operations Administrative Assistant performs a vital role in supporting operational activities within the department while providing direct assistance to the Associate Deans. The Operations Administrative Assistant works closely with academic staff within the JR Shaw School of Business including program chairs, instructors, and other administrative staff. This position will also collaborate on operational responsibilities with interdepartmental stakeholders including the Business Information Centre, the Scheduling team, and the greater department of Academic Quality and Operational Excellence.
The Operations Administrative Assistant will work alongside a team of Operational Administrative Assistants to carry out a variety of responsibilities to ensure smooth operation of the department. The ideal candidate will provide highly organized administrative and operational support to the Associate Deans and their portfolios, have demonstrated to be detail oriented, and have excellent interpersonal skills as one of the primary points of contact for staff.
$48,257.04 and $62,451.48 annually, plus a comprehensive benefits package. (Classification – Administrative Support V).
This position is covered by the Alberta Union of Provincial Employees (AUPE) Collective Agreement.
