Qualifications

This position requires post‑secondary education in occupational health and safety or a related field along with Canadian Registered Safety Professional Designation. A minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in organizational health and safety is required, preferably in the public sector; experience in a unionized environment is preferred. The position requires a good understanding of the diverse business requirements of the City’s divisions and departments.
