Job description

Sideworx Connect offers positions for both employees and independent contractors. We specialize in placing short-term and seasonal employees, allowing you control over your schedule and a chance to explore a multitude of projects.

We are currently seeking competent candidates with Nitrogen Pumping & Hauling Field Operator experience for urgent placement in Central and Northern Alberta. Primary duties include operating low-rate nitrogen pumps and bulkers on well sites, pipelines, and plant locations. Travel is required and certain jobs may be eligible for Living Out Allowance.

Qualifications:
  • Class 1 or 3 license is preferred, Class 5 with direct experience will be considered
  • Current certification in First Aid, H2S Alive, and CSO (TDG & WHMIS provided)
  • Minimum of three years oil field driving experience; off-road, chaining up etc.
  • Minimum of five years in a related oil field industry with transferable skills (coil, testing, fluid, frac, etc.)
  • Previous N2 experience will be an asset
  • Understand and follow federal and provincial DOT regulations
  • Mechanically inclined
  • A commitment to working safe
  • Strong planning and organizational skills
  • Ability to work and thrive with minimal supervision
  • Ability to travel long distances and work in remote environments for extended periods of time
  • Team orientated, and strong ability to get along with others
  • Ability to think on your feet, analyze problems, and make good decisions
  • Good computer skills, and have basic technical abilities
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment testing
